gather: Event Terms & Conditions
We are THRILLED to welcome you inside gather, by Wordfetti.
Please note that by purchasing an event ticket (“Services”) with us, you agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”).

1) General
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll post the update on the Site. Your continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
2) Privacy
The event and our services are also governed by our Privacy Policy at XXX
3) Eligibility
You represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
- Any registration and payment information you provide is accurate and current.
- You have the authority to enter into these Terms.
4) Limited Licence
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
5) Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for unlawful or malicious purposes.
- Harass, abuse, defame, impersonate, or otherwise harm others.
- Post or transmit harmful, obscene, or offensive content.
- Scrape, spider, or data-mine the Site.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Services.
- Infringe any intellectual property or privacy rights.
6) Community Standard
We are uber protective of the energy of the room. Therefore, we may remove or refuse access to the event (without refund) if, in our reasonable opinion, you:- Engage in illegal, unethical, discriminatory, or harmful behaviour;
- Create an unsafe or hostile environment;
- Disrupt experiences or disregard reasonable instructions from staff or venue.
7) Intellectual Property
All content on the Site or within the Services (text, graphics, videos, logos, trademarks, event materials, etc.) is owned by or licensed to Gather and protected by law. You may not copy, adapt, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.
When you join us at a Gather event (or use our Site), you’ll get access to materials, resources, and creative assets that are owned by us, or sometimes shared with us by trusted third parties (“Content”).
This includes (but isn’t limited to) presentations, ideas, frameworks, logos, images, videos, audio, text, designs, graphics, trademarks, and anything we create or license specifically for our events.
What this doesn’t mean
Your ticket or access doesn’t give you ownership of our Content. In other words, you can enjoy it, learn from it, and use it for your own personal growth, but it’s not yours to copy, resell, repurpose, or pass off as your own.
No commercial use
You can’t:
Copy, edit, distribute, or publish our Content without permission.
Resell, license, or otherwise make money from our Content.
Create “spin-offs” or derivative works based on it.
If you do, we reserve the right to cancel your access (without refund).
What you can do: you have a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use our Content for your own learning, inspiration, and application in your own work. That licence is just for you (not to be transferred or sold to someone else) unless we’ve given you written permission.
All content on the Site or within the Services (text, graphics, videos, logos, trademarks, event materials, etc.) is owned by or licensed to Gather and protected by law. You may not copy, adapt, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.
8) User Content & Submissions
If you submit content (e.g., feedback, testimonials, participation in discussions), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, edit, and share that content in connection with the Services and our marketing. You confirm you have the rights to grant this licence.
9) Events & Programs
We may modify, postpone, or cancel an event at any time, especially if an unforeseeable event occurs.
If an unforeseeable event occurs (such as but not limited to a natural disaster, a pandemic etc) and we are required to reschedule an event, we will let you know at our earliest convenience.
If we cancel an event (and do not reschedule), we may offer a refund or credit for the ticket price at our discretion. We are not liable for incidental or related costs (e.g., travel, accommodation).
10) Speaker & Programming Disclaimer
We carefully curate our programming; however, speakers and experiences may change due to unforeseen circumstances. Refunds will not be issued solely for changes in line-up, format, or programming.
11) Technology & Access
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Site or virtual platforms and are not liable for delays, outages, or failures outside our control.
12) Right to Refuse Service
We may refuse, cancel, or terminate access to any Service at any time if you breach these Terms or for behaviour we deem inappropriate.
13) Photography, Video & Media Release
By attending a Gather event, you consent to being photographed, filmed, and recorded. You grant us the right to use your image, likeness, and voice in marketing and promotional materials.
14) Results Disclaimer
We love a transformation, but we don’t promise outcomes. Participation in our Services does not guarantee specific results. Your outcomes depend on your actions and circumstances.
15) Tickets, Pricing, Taxes & Refunds
All prices are in AUD and inclusive of GST.
This excludes any purchases into The Wordfetti Club, which will be in USD.
All sales are final. Tickets and digital products are non-refundable. Therefore please carefully read the page and ensure that the event is a good fit for you. You are welcome to ask us any questions to ensure it is. There will be NO change of mind refunds.
Discount codes may have conditions and cannot be combined unless stated.
You’re responsible for any payment processing fees charged by third parties.
16) Substitutions & Transfers
If you can’t attend, you may request a ticket transfer to another person by emailing supportninjas@wordfettigroup.com at least 2 days before the event.
Note, transfers are subject to approval and any applicable fees and we are NOT responsible for any of the resale transactions between you and the reseller.
17) Force Majeure
We’re not liable for delays or non-performance due to events outside our reasonable control (e.g., extreme weather, public health orders, power/internet outages, venue issues).
18) Safety, Venue Rules & Third Parties
You must follow all venue and safety rules and reasonable instructions from staff/venue. We are not responsible for third-party actions or services (e.g., vendors, sponsors, venues, platforms).
19) Health, Allergies & Accessibility
As part of your confirmation email, you will be asked to answer a 2-minute survey so we can collate your details as well as your dietary preferences. Please ensure you complete this so we have your details on file.
We’ll do our best, but we can’t guarantee allergen-free catering or meet all requests.
20) Links & Third-Party Sites
We may link to third-party sites. We don’t control or endorse them and aren’t responsible for their content or practices. Use at your own discretion.
21) Warranties & Disclaimers
Except as required by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that the Services are error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose. There are no guarantees associated with this event, or your purchase of this event.
22) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill; or costs incurred (e.g., travel, accommodation). Where liability cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, it is limited to:
re-supplying the Services, or paying the cost of having the Services re-supplied.
23) Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gather, its officers, employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Services.
24) No Commercial Use / Limited Licence to Materials
Any event materials provided to you are for personal use only under a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence. You must not share, sell, publish, or exploit them without our written consent.
25) Confidentiality (for VIP Sessions)
If you attend VIP dinner or VIP Strategy Day, you agree to keep confidential any non-public information shared by presenters or participants, except where disclosure is required by law or the information becomes public through no fault of yours.
26) Dispute Resolution
If an issue arises, email supportninjas@wordfettigroup.com so we can resolve it in good faith. If we can’t resolve it within 30 days, the dispute will be referred to mediation in Queensland, Australia in accordance with the rules of The Resolution Institute (or similar body). If still unresolved, the courts of Queensland, Australia have exclusive jurisdiction.
27) Severability
If any provision of these Terms is unlawful or unenforceable, that provision is severed and the remainder remains in effect.
28) Assignment
You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may assign our rights at any time.
29) Entire Agreement
These Terms (plus our Privacy Policy and any event-specific terms) form the entire agreement between you and Gather and replace any prior understandings.

Addendum A: Sponsors & StallholdersThis section applies to confirmed sponsors and stallholders at Gather events.
A1. Eligibility & alignment
We partner with brands that align to Gather values (respectful, human-centred, and community-minded). We reserve the right to accept or decline sponsorships/stalls at our discretion.
A2. Deliverables & deadlines
You agree to supply required assets (logos, copy, imagery, artwork, product samples, etc.) by the deadlines outlined in your Sponsorship Kit or agreement. Missed deadlines may limit placement/benefits.
A3. Activation guidelines
Onsite activations, stalls, signage, and product sampling must comply with venue rules, safety standards, and our brand/safety guidelines. No unapproved signage, obstructive displays, or amplified sound without written approval.
A4. Goodie bags & sampling
If providing product for goodie bags or sampling, supply exact quantities and packaging by the date specified in your agreement. Items must be lawful, safe, and appropriately labelled (and allergen-aware where relevant).
A5. Staff & insurance
Provide adequate staff to install/operate/pack down your activation and hold any required insurances (e.g., public liability). We may request current certificates of currency.
A6. No exclusivity unless agreed
Category exclusivity only applies if expressly stated in your Sponsorship Agreement.
A7. Payment & cancellations
Sponsorship/stall fees are due per your invoice terms. Fees are generally non-refundable unless we cancel the event and do not reschedule. If we postpone, your benefits roll to the new date.
A8. IP & usage
You grant us a licence to use your brand assets (name, logo, approved imagery) to promote the event. You may reference your involvement with Gather in your marketing (no claim of endorsement beyond factual involvement).
A9. Conduct
All sponsor/stallholder staff must follow our Code of Conduct and venue rules. We may remove any activation or representative that breaches these Terms without refund.
A10. Results not guaranteed
While we aim to deliver an excellent experience, we don’t guarantee a minimum number of leads, sales, or impressions.
Addendum B — Code of Conduct We want Gather to be a safe, energising place to meet, learn and create. Please:
Be respectful, of people, space, and time.
No harassment, discrimination, or intimidation.
Follow reasonable instructions from our team and venue staff.
Keep pitches consensual. (Ask before selling.)
Respect privacy in small-group or closed-door sessions.
Record only where it’s clearly allowed.
Look out for each other, flag concerns with our team.
We may remove anyone who doesn’t uphold this standard (without refund).
Addendum C — Recording Notice (in-room)Some sessions may be photographed or recorded (audio/video). By attending, you consent to being recorded and to Gather using recordings for access-on-demand (if applicable), internal training, and marketing.
If a session is marked “off the record,” please don’t record, share screenshots, or quote participants without consent.
